CHAPTER MEETING - Quality Management for Projects

Ken will be presenting on "Quality Management for Projects".  This will be a refresher of the PMBOK guidelines for Quality Management, and will include practical discussion from Ken's experience with different organiztions and projects (nuclear, utility, manufacturing, and software implementation projects).

About Our Speaker

Ken spent 28 years working in the utility industry, holding various roles: electrical design engineer, nuclear licensing specialist/supervisor, Senior Project Engineer, Electrical Design Manager, Project Manager, and Project Office and Project Controls Manager. In 2012, he transitioned to the manufacturing industry joining Elkhart Brass as the New Product Development Manager, and then was promoted to Director of Quality and Continuous Improvement. In 2017, Ken ventured out on his own as a Project Specialist, creating Project Management Considerations, LLC. After being diagnosed and treated for Lymphoma, Ken decided in late 2018 to return to the workforce as a Lead Project Manager at Vista Manufacturing in Elkhart Indiana. Ken is also a Forum Leader for Renaissance Executive Forums Indiana, leading a Project Management Forum. Ken joined the Project Management Institute (PMI) in 2003, received his PMP Certification in 2010, served as the PMI Michiana Chapter President for 9 years, and most recently served as the PMI Region 2 Mentor (North Central North America) from 2016-2018 after serving as a "Shadow" for a year.
