Stories of Special Operations Forces

Kevin will share his experience in the military as the Special Operations Engineer for Central Command.  He will discuss how Special Operations Forces (SOF) arose out of the need, much like Agile Project Management, to win rapidly as a team.  "SOF arose when small, specially organized units manned by carefully selected people, processing unconventional skills, were given a common purpose and empowered to champion adaptability, improvisation and innovation."

About our Speaker

Kevin Casey has 30 years of Project Management experience, certified as a Project Management Professional and Agile Certified Practitioner.  He has previously worked as a Project Management Office Manager for Whirlpool and proudly served as a Lieutenant Colonel for the United States Army - with 3 combat tours to Iraq and 2 to Afghanistan.  He currently works as a Program Manager for K&M Machine and Fabrication.
